Hi all thanks for the add looking for some help please my son has a Audi A3 3door 2007 2.0TDI SLINE he has had the car for many years the car was lowered when he bought it the car was running on coilovers and the lowering springs the rear spring has broke and is so rusty we cant see any details on them and he wants to get rid of the coilovers and just go with rear springs we cant find out what size spring was on there so i am trying to find out if anyone would have a clue on what the size was on the rear springs as we have been looking and from what we have found out is because the s line sporty it had a lower spring than the normal a3 so what i am trying to find out is what size was the sline rear spring as my son has been looking and he seems to think that he would go with a 30mm lowering spring hope this sort of explains what i am trying to find out thank you for any help

Welcome Darren,

Enter your VIN into LLL Parts website, and that should give you the correct (as built) part number.

If you want to buy at reasonable cost, then you could try entering the registration number into Parts in Motion’s website, and that should give you a choice of brands of the correct ones.

Please let us know how you get on.

Regards,

Gareth.
