Audi A6 auxiliary transmission fluid pump

Featured Replies

Could anyone give me a ballpark price for an Audi dealership to replace the auxiliary transmission fluid pump on my 2019 A6 2.0 diesel DSG?

Apparently this is a dealership only repair, due to software not being accessible to anyone else.

Has anyone had experience of this issue?

Welcome Colin,

Best answer to your question lies with giving the main dealer a ring and asking for a quote.

Who informed you that this is a ‘dealer only repair’?

Hopefully others will be along to confirm/refute that.

Regards,

Gareth.

Thanks Gareth. We contacted several transmission specialists, they all informed me that the Odis software that they have, which is dealership level, is locked out of some functions on cars built 2019 onwards. We also went to a VW Audi specialist garage, they told us the same.

My car is at a local dealership now, but they can’t give me an appointment for diagnostic for over a month, we have supplied the fault codes but they want to do their own diagnosis before giving any estimates.

The car is a taxi, I’m self employed and this is my only income, hence me looking for information regarding costs.

If the only software that can access the car is Odis, how much reliance can you place on fault codes derived from other equipment? It grieves me to say it, but I see no alternative to an Audi dealer. Stevey Y, a knowledgeable taxi driver himself, may be along later to comment further.
