Grill & Remap

Featured Replies

New to this and new to Audi.

For my sins ive had nothing but fords for 17 years (believe it or not without a single problem)

I recently purched my first Audi. Its a 2016 A4 avant b9 SLine 2.0 TDI 190 Auto

2 things im looking advice on.

Firstly i actually prefer the chrome look on a car and was planning to keep it but on mine it is a bit grubby especially around the grill. I want to get a Honeycomb grill just unsure of where to purchase it and which one to purchase?

I also want to do a Remap and i'll be honest my reason is just for an extra bit of power. My car has a full service history and has been serviced again last week with a gearbox service also.

I only want to go stage 1. Could i be looking at more problems or is it generally completely safe?

Many thanks

Remapping for more power is going to put more strain on every part of the ten year old engine and transmission, thus reducing the car's overall durability and reliability. The choice is yours, but there is always a price to pay. Don't forget your insurance premium will also probably increase.

Hi.

If you have any issues with insurance at all then please feel free to drop me a line.

Regards,

Dan.
