1st it means what it says! There is a countdown and at 0 the engine will close down. 2nd the problem is vv likely the failure of the AdBlue pump and that really ps me off as 1 it is the result of Audi using an inadequate/poorly made pump, and, even worse, installing it inside the AdBlue tank so that it cannot economically be repaired or replaced. You need a new tank and associated electronics. When the new part is fitted, it has to be registered to the system.

Some people, esp in US, say the solution is to ditch AdBlue. That's forbidden in UK and will show up as an MoT fault.

No it's well known and much cheaper with a VW/Audi/Bentley Specialist

You can get an independent mapper to map out the adblue system. This is cheaper than repairing the system which could be a fault with the adblue pump etc. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.

It can be a number of things , pump , heater, lines , spray nozzle, electric wires .

ATM there's no mot testing of ad blue or if it's been mapped out . You can spend 1000's on repairs or hundreds , for it to only fail again.

Do you or have you ever mixed an ad blue anti crystal formula in with the ad blue ?

Id have the system tested and get prices before deciding on having it mapped out , which is less than £250 btw. Some say it makes the car illegal and not road worthy and will void your insurance. But they're not shelling out the £££££. Plus there's 1000's of diesels on UK roads with the ad blue deleted . 👍

Btw , how much ad blue is in the tank ATM . Full , half full , empty ??
