S-Line suspension change

Featured Replies

Hi all

Looking for some advice on changing out the rather firm and jittery S-line suspension on my 2024 A3 8Y (black edition) to something more comfortable and softer (possibly akin to standard SE suspension or equivalent).

Any suggestions on what I should be considering and looking at for daily driving only please? I’ve heard Bilstein (B4s ?) and maybe the eibach pro springs would help make things more comfortable?

thoughts and suggestions much appreciated. Any real world experience of changing from folks? Don’t want to burn a lot of money on changes that are not significant…

P.s I’m keeping the 19” wheels but I’ve already changed the sport tyres to touring tyres and that made a significant difference to road noise and comfort already!

Hi, what tyres did you change to? I'm looking to do the same for comfort. Thanks.

The latest Pirelli cinturato all season touring tyres. Much better than Potenzas which were very noisy and too firm.

Funnily enough I'm in the process of changing my suspension on my old A6 c5. From my understanding eibach pro kit are lowering springs. Bilstein b4 are or quality shocks.

Steve Y recommend Kilen springs to me. But standard shocks and springs should suit your needs.
