Rough idle on cold start

Hello,

I've got a 2015 3.0 BiTdi Allroad.

I get a rough idle when then engine is cold. Feels like a cylinder misfiring. Once up to temp, it's fine.

The car has been used a bit more for short journeys than I'd have liked.

There are no error codes on VCDS.

I changed all the glow plugs recently as one had gone down.

Could it be some carbon build-up? Is there anything I should be looking at in VCDS to help diagnose the issue? If it is carbon, what needs removing and cleaning?

Hi folks, looking for a bit of knowledge to help me understand a start/stop niggle with my 2026 model A3 S Line 35 petrol. The engine has suddenly taken to cutting out without warning. Doing so at 70 mph on the motorway was terrifying lucky I managed to dip the clutch before everything locked up. It has done this at various speeds since that first experience. I got a weird one. I'm fairly car literate and I'm usually able diagnose and know the problem to pull in to my local independent shop and tell them this and this need to be fixed and replaced. But this has me stumped. I have a 2016 Q5 2.0 engine that went bad with carbon deposits yada yada... So I stepped up got a new motor from Power Engines it came all crated up they were super helpful pleased with them. My mechanic moved all the bits and reattached them to the new engine from the old. 2026 SQ8 Often my boot opens when I open the drivers door. Sometimes I find it open for no reason even when the key is not on my person. Today I found the front passenger window opened and the roof tilted about 10 minutes after arriving home when they were definitely closed. Has anyone else had these issues? Ok, after completing the gearbox swap and driving the car for a few months, things have started to fail. The speedo doesn't work, even after putting in a speedo pickup in the gearbox, sensor and repairing the wiring. The electric windows all stopped working. The central locking won't work. The airbag and abs light work as they please. My next step is to strip it and turn it into a track car. I know they are not known for being great on a track, but I will try anyway. Hi all, Hope everyone is well.. i have had a problem over the past week with my a3 2.0 tdi sportback. To cut a long story short, drove out to bath for an appointment, had the appointment and got back into the car to notice it wouldnt start first time. After several attempts and long cranks it started but seemed to be running lumpy on idle. Any suggestions please to what this could be?? Mileage is 94000. Many thanks.

Good morning I would be eternally grateful if anybody can help with a very annoying issue I have with the air blowers. When I set the blowers to the dashboard vents, air comes out of the passenger side and middle vents but not the drivers. Instead the air comes through the footwell vent on the drivers side and not the dashboard vent. To make it even more confusing, when I set the blowers to to the footwell it stops coming out of the drivers side and only comes out the passenger side. I assume it

HI, 2015 2.0 TDI Technik 150hp 8 speed Had car aboutt 3 weeks, 97,700 on it, when picked up, now just over 98,000 can see ATF was done at 40,000, regular serviceing every year upto 67,,000 on avg only 5-10,000 miles per year, then in 2022 jumps 20,000 miles no more service records or documentation, Trader states with reciept OIL change and fluid top ups & 12 month mot before I pickup (400mile round trip), not sure can trust them. I have a 2026 model A3 S Line which appears to have some missing parts. The plastic cover for the top of the engine, the filter in the washer bottle neck, the blue washer bottle cap. I am told Audi don't supply these items which seems strange to me in a quality car. My previous A3 S line had all these bits supplied from new can anybody shed any light on this. The dealer advises "that's how they come now"

Hi All, Car : 2015 A5 2.0lt 150hp Couple of issues so far. Had car around 3 weeks, had ATF & Filter changed Friday as history shows last change 40,000, car has 98,000 on it Particle filter warning came on dash, took car for spin down motorway but couldent get it start regen, but cleared code and checked soot levels via VCDS and seem ok Other day I disconnected negative terminal in battery to do full system reset, all went well until this morning, start car and get ECS fault, test battery at

Hi everyone, I have a 2013 Audi A4 B8.5 Avant 2.0 TDI 177PS quattro with the 7-speed S tronic gearbox. I would like to ask for some opinions from people who have experience with this drivetrain. The main thing I notice is that on A-road/main road driving, especially around 55–70 mph (90–110 km/h), the gearbox sometimes seems to hunt between 6th and 7th gear. Hi, first time poster here, I’m trying to add a picture but I’m not sure now to. Before I start, I absolutely love this car, it’s my second and I was down at Audi every other week sitting in once before I was able to afford one. It is due to go back to Audi next month and I have a £13 000 payment to make if I want keep it. For a car of this quality and spec in this current market it is a bargain.
