Audi Owners Club
Hi and welcome to the club! :) Does the door still lock or is it both the lock and unlock functions that do not work?
Bunting
Thank you. It's only the unlock function. I can open it from the inside with the handle no problem. It locks on the key fob every time
Audi Owners Club
Hmm strange sounds like it could be a microswitch or chip in the unlocking mechanism that has failed. Does it still unlock with the key?

Won't open from the outside once opened from the inside it then opens all the time from the outside until I lock it again. Any ideas? Did you get yours sorted? Kocpm
Hi having the same problem but also with the added problem of the child lock being on and Audi are quoting me 125 euro just for diagnostics anyone have any ideas
Steve Q
It might.be the drivers door lock mechanism. When this starts to fail it can affect all the other doors as the drivers door controls them all. I'd definitely get the diagnostic check carried out though to get the exact fault.
