I have had my 06 plate 3.0TDI quattro S-line cabriolet for 8 years and loved every minute of owning it! All Audis are well built and usually bombproof if they have been serviced when their supposed to and not messed around with. The bodywork is galvinised so should not rust unless it has been crashed and badly repaired in the past. The 2.4l engine is known to be thirstier than a 2.0 petrol but to be fair what's a couple of MPG, and with an auto box unlikely it has been thrashed. A nice engine for the motorway.
