Audi A4 TDI 2012 Exhaust Silencer

Featured Replies

Hello,
So i have taken my car to a couple of different garages to diagnose a roar/rattle in the exhaust when i accelerate at low speeds. Both places have told me its the same issue. The back box silencer or potentially central silencer have deterioration in the baffles.
For some reason the exhaust is only available from Audi direct and not other places. Price from the part is £500 and only labour costs vary. Most recent garage were honest and told me to look for an aftermarket one and they will fit it for me.
Not looking for anything fancy or performance improving. Just something thats pretty standard to spec and good quality so the job won't have to be done twice.

Welcome to the forum Cam :)

youll find the members on here are a friendly bunch and will help you where they can :)

most stainless steel exhausts can be tweaked to your preference on how loud it is and the noise it makes. Companies such as power flow exhausts can cost around £350ish :)

hope iv helped

cheers
