Adding Bluetooth

Featured Replies

I've got a 2005 JDM A6, to which I would like to add bluetooth. I've been trawling around the net, looking for the right bits, but am confused as to what I have. It was originally a pretty upmarket beast, with the Bose audio, and even a TV - unfortunately not digital!

I would like to get a bluetooth adapter to use my phone as an extra source, but I really am unsure what bits I actually need, or even what hardware is installed!

Here's a photo of the label on the unit in the boot. Can anyone point me towards my options, available upgrades, etc???

Cheers,

I forgot to mention it's got a CD multi and a MD (!) player in the glovebox. I haven't tried to remove the MD player to see if I can re-use the wiring for that yet, in the hope it uses an AMI socket.

Welcome to the forum Steve! :)

I have to say your country has great scenery :)

You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) unfortunately I'm unable to help though. Sorry.

When you get a chance feel free to post a pic of your a6 :)

cheers
