Seal on bottom of door blades

Featured Replies

Hi guys new member here. The door blade rubber on my A6 are looking very rough and I think they're affecting the doors seal. Audi are quoting about £700 for the whole door blade to be replaced and painted. Anyone have an ingenious replacement? Thanks.

can you post a pic or 2 so we can see what needs doing, thanks

Of course. Thinking there must be some generic weather strip that could replace it. Cheeky of them to sell you the whole blade just for that but typical Audi

Hi Aaron

Welcome to the forum! :D

Wouldn't it be cheaper to replace the door? Lol

Thanks for the welcome Bradley. Yeah your right probably would haha. Have found some z shape rubber strip on ebay that is for the window surround. May fit in there with a bit of bodging. Get a lot of wind noise in my a6 sounds like window is down at motorway speeds. Does my head in.
