Help with tyre pressure

Featured Replies

Hi All

I need some help please.

I have a Audi A1 SLine Sportback. I drive alot for work. So I need the tyre pressure to be correct. Please see attached photo with type pressure recomendation. My tyre size is 215/40 R17 87W. I don't have the comfort setting so that option is out. And usually it's just me and a overnight bag so very little load.

Your help is appreciated 🙂

Thank you

Welcome to the forum Athiya :)

You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. Nice to see a fellow member from Leicester on here! :)

Here is a link to a thread I put on the forum last month with regard to vehicle Tyre pressures. On it you'll find a link to a useful pressures guide:

Hope it's useful :)

Cheers

Hi Steve

Nice to know there are locals on here 🙂

Thank so much for that. Really do appreciate it.  I had seen that site earlier. And if I select my car and tyre size it shows a tyre plaque that's completely different from mine hence my confusion. Please see previous post with photo.

Ive tried Audi Leicester who aren't the most useful 😒

Deffo! :)

You're welcome :) glad I could help :)

On looking at the plague, this matches the website. For your wheels both recommend 36psi on the from and 32 psi on the rear.

Yea Audi Leicester aren't exactly the best for customer service 🤔

I use AC motor services in Syston and they're great :)

I'm assuming you'll want to use the main dealer as your car is under warranty. Which is understandable :)

You are a gem. Thanks for that. ☺

Thanks for AC motor services details. I may head there.

I work in Derby so I'm thinking to head to Audi Derby instead of Leicester. Has to be done 😏

Thanks so much for your help 👍

Tia

You're welcome Tia :)

They are a good garage :) I can't say I've used Audi derby buy they can't be any worse than Audi Leicester ;)

You're welcome, that's what I'm here for! :)

We'll have to try and do a Leicester meet at some point :)

Cheers
