James2017
I have an issue with a water leak on my Audi A4 Convertible 2005. This has water appearing in the drivers footwell. The drain grommets under the battery and servo are both clear, and no evidence of water build up. The effect is a bit strange. The carpets do not get a water build up on them when the car is stationary and it is raining, they only seem to get wet when the car is then driven. It appears to be near the footrest area that gets wet. The water is obviously rain water - there is no smell to it and the car is not loosing coolant. Any one got any ideas? Steve Q
Hi Jay, often water coming into the cabin via the bulkhead is often due to trapped foliage and water not being able to escape. You've done right to check the battery area but it might be worth checking along the length of the bulkhead (where possible). Another experienced member on here (magnet/Gareth) would advise to check the roof and water channels just in case of water running in somewhere. I appreciate it's a long shot but we'll worth doing. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
