I have recently been having a problem with my car it starts first time on the key and its a sweet drive but when I stop the engine to say get petrol the car won"t start sometimes it will other times I have to leave it about 10 minutes and it will then start on the key I am sure other's have had this problem so advice needed. If not, then it would be recommend. I'm wondering if the car is having trouble starting when the engine is warm. Are all the dials showing any issues? Ie temp? viv Posted December 20, 2017 Author Share Posted December 20, 2017 The problem has now been fixed it was the coolant temperature sensor out of range! So the total cost was £60 for the sensor and £40 labour = £100 I was advised to have a genuine Audi sensor what is your opinion Steve ?
