Volkswagen, Audi group receive 17,000 complaints over the emissions scandal

As it says, the Volkswagen, Audi Group have received 17,000 complaints regarding the emissions scandal. These complaints range from customers experiencing lower fuel economy or power after the fix, right through to failed DPF filters and EGR/EGR coolers. Volkswagen state the complaints only represent 2% of customers who have had the "fix". Out of the 17,000 complaints received only 500 (approx) are open and being investigated. Volkswagen claim to have investigated the other complaints and have concluded that they have to carry out no further action.
