Changing dashboard trim

Featured Replies

Hi, does anyone have any instructions or advice on changing out the brushed chrome dashboard trim in an A4 S Line 2016 please? I’ve bought a replacement trim for around £150 from the dealer but they want an additional £180 to fit it, thinking or hoping it might be possible to change it myself.

Hi Russell, welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

I believe the dash inserts just clip into the dash but you'll probs need to remove switch gear and other items that are around the inserts.

I've found this video on YouTube on how to remove the dash on a b9 which may be useful.

Cheers

Steve

Thanks Steve, that’s a good start.
