New Member Seaking Advice......

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm a new member to the forum and was after a little bit advice about a couple of problems I'm having with my B7 2.0TDI

1. Cold start is a little slow, engine turns over a few times before starting.

2. The next bit I don't know how to describe, but between first starting and warm the engine is a bit....'hicky'?! The tick-over is constantly changing and you can feel the engine moving making the car 'wobble'....?!

3. Exhaust is very smoky during the engine warming up (see above). It's fine when it's cold (just started) and when it's warm. It's just the bit inbetween. When stuck at lights it's a bit embarrasing until it's warm.

4. I often get a smell of exhaust fumes in the car, again, just when the car is warming up.

It's never failed an MOT on emissions. Drives great. Pulls great etc....

Any advice greatly received!

Thanks
