  1. Hello James, I haven’t checked actual book figures, but to me, it would appear to be very good value for money, and well presented and described in the advert. Everything will sell at a give away price, but successfully selling at a reasonable price does come with a little patience. Perhaps you could let us know where you have advertised it so far. Whereas it’s always worth advertising on this forum, I think it’s fair to say that it is an owners forum - which might equate to members actually owning Audis rather than looking to buy one. Kind regards, Gareth.

  2. Logically you are right, and until two years ago I believed the same; in reality a defective battery may start the engine yet cause electrical problems because of the sensitivity of electronic computerised engine management. I found that hard to accept initially, but I have had to accept it as true after personal experience of limp mode, loss of cruise control, and false warning lamps, (despite the alternator putting out a good charge,) when using a battery that I knew was lacking capacity. The mechanic I took it to convinced me to fit a new battery which immediately cured all the problems. That is the reason I asked about battery health. Since yours is fairly new I daresay your problem lies elsewhere so please let us know the outcome of the testing on Monday.

  3. For sale is my 2004 registered A4 1.8T (190bhp BEX engine) Sport in Akoya silver with GMBH kit. I bought the car in 2006 as an Audi Approved vehicle from Docklands Audi. It has covered 50636 genuine miles in total and has a full service history, mostly from a local VAG specialist. It has MoT until 23 September 2021. Factory spec includes heated electrically adjustable Recaro seats with full interior in buffalo leather. Other factory fitted features are: Xenon headlights with washers Interior light pack Storage pack Bose sound system Climate control 6 disk CD player Front and rear armrests Front and rear electric windows Electric folding door mirrors Rear parking sensors Original carpet mats (slight wear on the driver's) Cambelt, tensioners and water pump replaced 2 years ago at 48116 miles The only modification is that the rear A4 and 1.8T badges have been removed. Other than that, it's as it left the factory. It has two keys plus the plastic emergency one and all the handbooks are present. It has only been run in the summer months for the last 12 years and has been kept in a garage throughout. It is totally immaculate throughout and must be seen to be appreciated. There are a very few and very minor stone chips that have been touched in but apart from that, it has had no paint or body repairs in my ownership. I keep the car very clean using high quality products and careful methods so the paint is virtually swirl-free. The underneath of the car is almost as clean as the paintwork and the interior is unworn (except for the driver's mat). It's very difficult to put a price on the car but £5000 is extremely reasonable. Please ask for any further information. I'm based in North Sheffield, close to J35a and J36 of the M1. Thanks for looking.

  4. Hi All With a growing family, Im in the market for a highly specced Audi Q7. Ive been looking since last summer and was hoping to pick up a low mileage one owner car on the private market before someone upgrades or leases a new car. Unfortunately it would appear that hardly any such cars come up on the private market. Dare I say, do people straight up part exchange such cars? Anyhow, I intend to keep it for many years and hence why I want every extra possible! I was hesitant for a while before investing in a diesel and so waited for the election/brexit thing to sort itself out in case it had any kind of an impact on car/diesel prices. I needn't have bothered as I cant afford an electric/hybrid SUV anyway. So I'm spending what i have and hope for the best. Spec I'd hope for is: Audi Q7 S Line, 2015+, unto 40k miles, Adaptive air suspension Technology Pack Dynamic Pack Tour Pack Parking Plus (self park) Panoramic sunroof Bose sound system Leather seats Advanced Key Less important is: Colour (hopefully not white!), Flat bottom steering wheel, ambient lighting pack, leather pack etc Do get in touch if you're looking to upgrade with the new plates coming up. Fingers crossed! Thanks for reading.

  5. Hi Ali, Not sure if you are still interested but please see the Q7 50 TDI I have just listed for sale. It certainly sounds like what you were after, if you are looking for something relatively new. Best wishes, David
