  1. I think they are getting more strict on this when it comes to MOTs now so personally I probably wouldn't anymore
  2. James replied to Budgie3's topic in Audi A4 (B8) Forum
Both cars will be the B8 model so should do yes - I think all Avant models have the "flush" roof rails as standard so they should fit all Avant models.
  3. I'm the same to be honest Graham - always love a bargain, to the point that it's embarrassing sometimes! Got to save money where we can these days and all that!
  4. Out of interest, is the car modified extensively enough to need an uprated fuel pump or is there another reason for the upgrade?
  5. Doesn't sound bad at all - Michelin are very good. Let us know what you think once you've got them on
  6. That's good Dale, doesn't sound bad really. Hopefully you can get back to enjoying your Audi once that is fitted!
  7. Hi Phil, Yes I would have thought if it was the key battery the other doors would still lock and unlock with the key. Much more likely to be the module. Hopefully it will be that as otherwise you may find yourself having to cut up all the door cards to get the doors to open.
  8. Sorry to hear this what happened? Post some photos up. I would suspect they're different but I can't be 100% certain. I think back on the B6 they were the same not sure on the B8 though.
  9. Hi Peter, welcome It's still a fairly new car to be honest so just the usual stuff really. Are you buying from an Audi dealer?
  10. Oh right that's not bad, thanks for that Ross I'll have to take a look!

  12. Yes Paul, going to be Audi themselves or eBay I would think. Just be careful on eBay for fake though you're more likely to find fakes for badges like "S-Line" etc. Also, you may find some Audi dealers sell parts on eBay at a slight discount so keep an eye on the seller.
  13. Agree with Dave, if it's a recent purchase from a dealer take it straight back. If it's not reading any form of disc then it could be a faulty drive?
  14. Hi Ian, Welcome to AOC Still undecided as to which one to buy then?
  15. James replied to Sand.and's topic in Audi A5 Club
Hi Don, Sorry to hear about your A1 - I do hope this doesn't turn out to be a regular occurrence with the A1 as it appears to have been with the A5. Otherwise Audi could have a real issue on their hands...
  16. I think there is a module for each seat so it could be that if the motors are ok?
  17. ?Hi Gareth, I'm pretty sure the car should have one. Even if it is basic, it should still have that as it's not like it's an optional extra?
  18. Hi Christer, welcome to AOC Post some photos of the car up when you have a minute! Is this your first Audi?
  19. Thanks Jonathan much appreciated
  20. If you disconnect the MAF the ecu will assume low output and usually therefore low powere/poor economy I would think.
  21. Yes very strange! Seems like you're having a good old fashioned case of electrical gremlins!
  22. James replied to Able211's topic in Audi A3 (8V) Forum
Yes, I guess many people still find standalone systems like TomTom better but don't forget these companies are experts in the field. Personally even if it's not quite as good the convenience of having it built in is still the best thing for me, especially the amount I use it!
  23. Wow I thought you get at least get 4GB in non SDHC as 2GB is pretty tiny these days!?
