  3. we have been very fortunate in both main wars my grandfather was gassed in the first world war but survived.his face used to swell up now and then.my father survived conflict at sea.and my father in law flew the lancaster bomber in the 2nd world war and survived.my family have been very fortunate.and always grateful to our past generations.very loving, caring,grateful,thankful....we have a cenotaph close to us.and bagpipes are played just before 11am on remembrance day.and try and go over to show how thankful we are.when you see other conflicts going on around the world you feel for them.

  11. have you pulled up both the cup holder base covers to see if there are any screws there.or been very careful you could try using a plastic trim tool(as in this video 6m 45s)... to try and remove any trimmings as in my case where screws were hidden.but that was on my old audi a4
  12. sorry gareth i had to leave a word in to remove a link i had put on here from ebay.i was worried the car that i put a link to here for could be a bake as it seemed too cheap.regards stephen
  13. audi managed to source the part from germany.....absolute rubbish foam and nothing like the quality foam i have already.....it split quickly as i went to shape it in place.
  14. i have to agree.never seen that on a car before.will be interesting to know what will need doing to put both wheels right
  15. if you decide to go to the garage and its not far and there is still some coolant in the bottle just top up with water as its around £17 for a litre from audi(good stuff)i got the same warning message on my a4 avant and found after removing the large undertray that the bottom pipe(nearside) leading to the radiator had a leak....(if this is your case)if you can get a flat headed screwdriver and lift the clip up thats on the end of the pipe(dont remove it) and try and push the pipe as far as it will go on, and at the same time close the clip(sometimes these clips pop up and cause the leak, mine was a fast leak)......if that does not work and it still leaks from there, then you have to buy an O ring from audi(common fault, thats why they will know which one you will need when you tell them where the leak is coming from...and insert it inside the bottom radiator pipe(make sure its flush.......now heres the hardest part getting the pipe back on while trying to close the clip with the O ring in place. i found it very hard.even then i dread hearing the warning light coming back on as uncertain if it will stay in place.regards
