  2. Never heard of that one before...I know a lot of manufacturers share engines but not heard of a tie-up between Saab/Vauxhall and Audi
  3. Hi Mat There is an interesting post in the thread underneath yours about how to access and replace the battery on a Q7. As for coding, it would be necessary to recode the battery to the vehicle so that the system knows the capacity and voltage levels, etc for the alternator loading. If you are taking the vehicle into a battery replacement centre then they should be able to carry out this coding, but check first. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  4. nice!!!!!! No, rephrase that.....Very Nice !!!!!!!
  5. Chances are it could be something as simple as a sensor and I know that the connector going to the CTS is prone to broken wires into the plug

  17. Adbro ....as Steve has stated, there are pros and cons to both Club and Forum but this one seems to tick over quite nicely in its current format. Not to say that the Forum could not be enhanced to include a paid membership with benefits, including membership cards, etc. However, unless it is for the purpose of insurance discounts, there is not really a need to issue membership numbers.

  20. Hi Illya...welcome to the Forum Fine looking car....still nice to use with the hood down this time of year, as long as the heater works! A fellow Dorset inhabitant then.....we are arranging local meetups in the Southern area so keep a look out on the posts for when the next meeting is happening. Cheers, Trevor
  21. have you tried banging the light units to see if it is just a poor connection to the bulbs?
  22. Hi Mario....welcome to the Forum Definitely sounds like the earth provision (or lack of it) for the leads hence they are picking up EMF. You could try relocating the leads in another area (if possible) away from any electrical interference (vehicle electrical wiring) or creating some sort of earth shielding (tin foil with a lead to earth) to eliminate any guesswork and then if it works, spend the money on the ground loop insulators. Let us know how you get on with eliminating the interference. Cheers, Trevor
  23. Unfortunately, the Poll doesn't capture that type of information but if it helps...I'm a big fan of the A6 and I'm 53 years young.
