Throttle actuator problem
Possibly a replacement one is needed if there is oil ingress on the electrical connections. If you do replace it, ensure that there is no oil tracking down through the loom into the connector

Which Braking System?
There should be a diagram or dimensions for both sets of pads somewhere on the internet....best to identify them first but if not, buy both and return the ones you don't use

Dash dimmer/illumination issue
Hi Lee...welcome to the forum Could you push it out from behind the dash as opposed to levering it out? Sounds like it could be the switch, with a build up in resistance. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor

A6 Bi-TDI - Massive fuel leak - I need some expert opinions..
Hi Lewis Sorry no-one has answered your post as yet, but there is no definitive answer that just pops into my mind. If I had to guess...I would say they could be right about the injector leaking back with a little higher pressure than normal leak back. My thoughts are that this is not the sort of pipe that should have enough pressure going through it to push it off the injector, no matter what sort of clip is securing it. Let us know what you find out and how it goes Cheers, Trevor

You can fit a Helicoil to the sump...find a garage that has the kit for this or it is available to buy at Engineering supply stores as a kit (tap and Helicoil)
