Hi Gary So doesn't make a difference if the engine is cold or hot? driven hard or not? Do you feel the noise is definitely coming from the gearbox? Also going to try to remove my wheel caps and put new ones on tomorrow but I'm on a hill so lifting the car up to take the wheels off is abit annoying, if I fail to get them off, has anyone got anything that could take them off?

Hi Gary Welcome to the forum!, I've moved this to the A5 Section for now, Sure this would be the correct location. As Magnet has stated, is it an automatic? Are you able to supply us with a video at all? phone on car seat and record sound? Does it make the noise when you take your foot of the accelerator then re apply? (when you're cruising and not taking your foot of to change gear) Best Regards Bradley

Do you think this could be the course of it diverting you off? but yes I agree can be annoying but life saving lol Could you try to change them settings? or ignore it and just following the best route you know (once you knew where you are) ?

Hi Sven We are going the A1 route on the day then turning of at the A14 then off there onto the A6116, not sure if we'd be able to do it :( sorry mate unless we time it perfectly for you to come off a junction onto the motorway :P If not that then will be looking forward to seeing you a bit later on! :D
