Glad you're happy with it 🙂

Could be the ECU and the only way you'll know is sending it off for repair.
You might be able to buy a second hand one from eBay but it must be the exact same part number. Then the imobiliser will need to be removed from it or recoded to work for your car.

Here's a similar post I did on repairing the window on a TT which might be useful.

Truthfully I've not looked as much into shows this year. We are attending simply Audi. I will take a look and see what other shows members would like to attend.

I too have an A6 on the C5 platform, mines not an allroad though and I do share your concerns on parts availability.
Have you looked at the c7 allroad?
I appreciate you've looked at the current shape A6.
My other advice would be to go to a local car supermarket like available car (I appreciate its a long way from you) to compare different types of cars to see what you might like.

It's very annoying. On my A6 C5 Audi fitted a mini visor between the two visors. I never understood why they didn't continue this good feature.
Not sure if another type of sun visor will fit. The alternative option could be to fit a small sunstrip.

If it's not in the arm rest or glovebox then I'd say no.

Unfortunately it was a private sale, there haven't been any other problems yet, and it's not causing an issue as I'm using it every day. I'll keep an eye on it and try to see if there's any leaks.
Fingers crossed 🤞

As you've had it a week and if bought from a dealer then I'd recommend getting it back to them asap. As you are entitled to a full refund or for them to repair the vehicle FOC in the first 30 days of purchase.

That's true it would show up stone chips less. I guess it depends on what wrap you go for.

That's the way to do it if you can.

Definitely must likely the fob being leant on. Alternatively if you want a peace of mind you could get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up

Well iv just put the back boxes on not properly or bolted up just too get the sound and I'm well happy
Well done! You've done a great job 😊

I'd be getting this to a garage asap, and I wouldn't be starting it up unless it's being inspected by a garage. It needs a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up at the very least.

Id definitely say painting them would look better.

It could be an injector even though you'd have thought that would throw up a fault code.
Could it be a blocked fuel filter?

When did you work as a master tech at Audi?
Cheers
