  1. got ' gearbox malfunction can continue to drive' pop up on my dash, took my car for a diagnostics at audi they couldnt find anything wrong with the car, took it to an independant diagnostics and it came up with 3 codes... sensor for transmission speed 2.... pressure regulator valve clogged/dirty.... clutch activation implausible. spoke to numerous places and they dont seem to know what the problem is. My guess is that theres something wrong on the ECU? if so can i get it repaired or will it be a new ECU? Any help at all please!

Hey everyone first post here and hoping you can all help, I have a 2.0tdi quattro 170ps the other day coming bk from work the engine cut out after a brief flash of the coil light got the car home and ran a basic scan giving codes P0087 and P0088 so checked the HPFP and found metal flake so I have replaced that for a 2nd hand unit with same part numbers also replaced fuel filter, I've checked lines from the common rail to injectors and they are free of metal flake (fingers crossed they are all good) but the problem I'm having even after running vcds to prime the fuel system the damn thing still won't start fuel is getting to injectors and it's like the car wants to start as it trys to splutter into life with a squirt of easy start but just cuts out again... What could I of missed ???
  3. Hello everyone, Can anyone help me with this area in which I am very inexperienced? I am a complete newbie and have just begun to sort out with Ross-Tech help some problems with my 2006/7 A4 2.0 Avant TDi Diesel Auto. I have had an EGR delete installed and a re-mapped ECU to suit a year or so ago. Apart from that no other modifications. I now live in France and recently I had a MAF sensor fault so I replaced the sensor and all seemed well at first after a French garage reinstated the default settings and I have had a series of loss of power events plus much smoke from the exhaust varying from black to white. I had the car off the road for months, wrecked the battery and replaced it with a new one I bought and used the latest Ross-Tec VCDS Hex V2 cable connection and ran the tests with the latest Ross-Tech software. I was advised to re-test after deleting all the error codes many of which related to poor electrical voltage or inability to communicate. I did delete the codes and ran a new sequence of tests which gave apparent good results. However I have still not licked the problem and I suspect that the EGR delete has not been re-mapped but I don't know how to check that. Can any of you wizards suggest a solution?   4. Have an error on my roof, if i try lower roof on my dash it says i have a problem with flap or something in boot any ideas?

Hey guys..Thanks for having me :) Just bought an Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI, upgrade from a Mini Cooper (so quite bigger haha) I hate yellow lights,so I put LED h7 front headlights on, but every so often, the left dipped error comes up and the bulbs are working fine!! Any others had the same-any solutions?
  6. Hello, first post to the forum, I am having multiple issues with my Audi A1. Purchased in 2015, the cruise control doesn't maintain a set speed, I.e. Set it to 30 mph and over a couple of miles it will increase to 33/34mph. Oil light has started to flash, coolant is below minimum and indicator not always ticking. I I wanted to see if any other fellow Audi owners have experienced the same problem and what you have done to fix it? Look forward to any help/advice Thanks Matthew
