Ideally need it sorting ASAP, definitely can't wait 4 months for a response. The water could get into the wiring loom etc and render the car worthless. Thanks

Pauline S.S. replied to Pauline S.S.'s topic in Audi Q5 Club
@Steve Q will do. Asked for a call tomorrow morning stating my worry about ABS. Thankfully I’ve not long to wait for the diagnosis / Tuesday. -
Sounds like it's that then.

After a few minutes, car beeps at me and the clock turns off
Steve Q replied to eemew57's topic in Audi Q2 Club
Glad you've got sorted 🙂 maybe the MMI needs an update? -
If it gives you peace of mind for 2 years, then that’s all that matters. Expensive for what it is, but that’s how these things work.

2010 A3 S3. No start amd sudden shutdown when hot
Steve Q replied to edmiri's topic in Audi A3 (8P) Forum
So could be the key then. Have you got a spare? -
Thanks Gareth, I had the connector under the driver's see replaced just last year. That's why I thought I might have caused it disconnecting and reconnecting the door motor. Will try the spray as you suggest. Will also ask the local garage to run a fault diagnostic.

A6 3.0 TDi How to remove connector on coolant level sensor?
spartacus 68 replied to Cantata's topic in Audi A6 (C7) Forum
Suspect the plastic lever is on the underside of that electrical connector, normally press the tab and pull the plug at the same time. You can use a flathead screwdriver against the side of the expansion tank and the sensor and tease it out. Don’t use force. More details here. -
Any update for us Ed?

Alternator failure related to mild hybrid system?
DieSel-Q replied to PocketsAintEmptyCuh's topic in Audi A7 Club
AlexR - unfortunately it's nothing to do with a recall and never will be safety related, despite cars stopping in live lanes etc. Glad your dealer and Audi played ball. There are lots of people who haven't been that lucky. Audi have been in damage limitation mode. -
Thanks Allan, Wondering if 8mm ID fuel hose might do - make sure it's S.A.E J30 R9 ( the R9 higher pressure rating is important ). I understand the well respected Gates now do a braided version, so well worth searching that out. Please let us know how you get on. Regards, Gareth.

Richardracer replied to Richardracer's topic in Audi Cars for Sale and Wanted
Hi everyone, I do not have a specific budget, but am just starting down this road. I have looked at prices on Autotrader, EBay and on here to get some ideas. I would guess £3k to £5k but let’s see what is out there please. -

Hi Pipe I think is about 38mm. Have found this on ebay 296994527233 The seller does'nt know what its made from and not interested in finding out (strange man) For £40 one would think metal of some sort as the plastic ones are about a tenner

So, I took the car out for an eight or nine-mile trip today - to get some breakfast... ...which was very pleasant. On the way home, in addition to the DPF light (which had been on from the get-go), I got the flashing glow-plug light, shortly followed by the check engine light. The triumvirate of misery... ☹️ When I got home, I plugged Carly in, and after 20 minutes or so, got the following result: The Smart Mechanic says: ...and goes on to say... So, it doesn't tell me much more than the light on the dash. My DPF is clogged and isn't re-genning as it should. No clue as to why... 🤔 It mentions a control unit - anyone know what/where this is please? Thanks, Mike 😎
