  2. It’s wasn’t out of sight!! They’re very quick & slick about what they do! Both me & my husband were present. I posted this to help people and make people aware but not to receive any negative / unhelpful comments
  3. Battery is all good 12.6 volts if i remember correct and 13+ when running The steering draws power and causes a dip in rpm followed by a slight vibration, normal on some vehicles i believe but not feels somewhat severe
  4. Very risky without a service history. Walk away from the deal.
  5. Maidstone to London is an hour each way; Maidstone to Framlingham is three hours each way. Those journeys should be more than enough to induce regular regenerations to keep the DPF clear. Have you had any engine or Adblue warnings other than DPF?

  7. Hi All I am interested in purchasing a 2021 A3 TFSIe but it does not have the Adaptive Cruise Control and people have mentioned that you can purchase this from FOD. How do you control the function if your purchase it as the car I am looking at does not have the function button on the cruise control stalk on the steering wheel ? Many thanks on advance

  10. You won't find defective CV joints with a crowbar. You need to clamp self locking grips onto the drive shaft and rotate it violently to detect any rotational slack. The gearbox needs to be locked by putting into a gear, and the wheels need to be locked either with the brakes or being on the ground while doing the test.
  11. I don't know where I have put the print out. I think I might have binned it by accident. I need to get to the dealers again and get another printout.
  12. There has been similar cases. Make sure any sound deadening you're planning to fit in the wheel arches is water proof. Otherwise it'll trap moisture and rot the wings from inside out. You'd be best putting it on the bulkhead underneath the dash and footwells.

  14. I just checked the part on my car:) seems like is the genuine part, got the W/AG on it.
  15. Any update on this issue ?
  16. And dare I say, the originals don’t look to be the best quality.
  17. Thanks guys. I’ve listed my RS4 on this site, as well as on RS246 (long time member) and Audi-Sport. Will see what interest I get. I am not in a rush to sell it, and it needs to go to an enthusiast as it is absolutely mint. WBAC don’t have good pricing for high performance cars as there is too much risk with them. Motorway I have a bad experience - they give you an indication which you can reject but if you decide to go to ‘auction’ you commit to sell. My VW Up! Got one bid at the reserve and it went - which in hindsight I should have put the reserve higher, but they suggested a low reserve to drum up bidding. My local VW garage bought it and were amazed at the price they paid - I felt the fool… if nothing comes from the forums in the next week or so I’ll put it up on AutoTrader, PistonHeads and maybe eBay. Thanks again. Sam
  18. This could be an issue with the instrument cluster. Might be worth getting an auto electrician to take a look
  19. Hi 10amp is about as high as you need to go, from memory I have nearly always used the fusebox under the cover on the left end of the dash, check the owners handbook for what fuse does what as you dont want to use an ABS/wipers fuse or anything that if it blows will leave you in poo creek, depending what the spec is of your model there may well be a spare fuse port in the box, thats what I did with my A6, the spare port was in the purple square, test for ignition live with meter. Steve.
  20. Hi Does anyone know the part number for the Caliper logo plate or where to buy replacements?
  21. Sorry for late reply. My car has factory fit sunroof. sidesteps and tow bar. There are no towing restrictions,
  22. Hi I have a similar problem but not from the front. A juddering from underneath/rear the car when going from a standstill with full lock in and accelerating briskly. Mine only happens when warmed up. There is a TPi or TSB whatever it's called for Quattro Ultra.. So far they've done a software update and a clutch adaptation (twice) but it isn't fixed. It goes in next week for a clutch pack replacement on the rear transmission. My car is fortunately still under Manufacturer's warranty.
  23. salut ai aflat !Removed! vin firele legate

  25. Were the replies any use to you Mark?
