  2. Hi. I have recently purchased a lovely 2017 S6 with 62k miles Its far too quite for my me and I am thinking of either a middle resonator delete, replaced with an x pipe, or a full cat back system. I have seen a Scorpion exhaust within my price range, and also Milteks, but they are slightly over budget. Does anyone have any recommendations of any other brands? If I just go for the middle resonator delete, I have seen an x pipe by ECS and 034 motorsport for about £450. Does anyone on here have those fitted? If so, how do they sound. I don't want anything too loud, but I want to be able to hear a bit more of the V8 than I can at the moment. Also, does anyone know anything about the active sound and what actually happens when you put the engine noise in Dynamic, as I cant hear any difference. I don't think its a valved exhaust, as I cant hear them opening or closing Thanks Dan
  3. So, update on the gearbox issues. It’s been very intermittent. Done it on Thursday and has been fine since. At mechanics here. Said it could be the gearbox oil needs changed as it’s approaching 70k miles. I told him I changed the oil at 65k but just got it at the motor factors. He said that may not have been the right oil and always goto Audi. Got a long wait as the won’t give me a courtesy car 😢
  4. Thanks for that, I've ordered one so lets hope this one works !
  5. Is there a reliable seller? especially someone not on eBay? They look like they’re in the 35-45 pound ballpark for a piece of plastic, seems a bit exorbitant?

  7. Thanks Spartacus, it was something like that! The tag on the underside of the connector has to be pulled outwards, it simply bends a bit and detaches a tiny latch inside. Awkward little blighter but all done now, contacts sprayed (they looked a bit green) and problem has gone away.
  8. As would be air filter changes.
  9. Audi dealer.
  10. Take it back to the dealer for a refund before the 30 day limit expires.

  12. Hi DieSel-Q I think it is a great shame that some customers have not had the free of charge repair. Dealers should proactively check current issues reported by customers in case they are covered. Whilst it certainly pays to do some research on the Gov Website shown above and present the evidence to the dealer’s service department, it should not be something that is necessary.
  13. That's a good point, it could be.
  14. Ideally need it sorting ASAP, definitely can't wait 4 months for a response. The water could get into the wiring loom etc and render the car worthless. Thanks
  15. @Steve Q will do. Asked for a call tomorrow morning stating my worry about ABS. Thankfully I’ve not long to wait for the diagnosis / Tuesday.
  16. Sounds like it's that then.
  17. Glad you've got sorted 🙂 maybe the MMI needs an update?
  18. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Looks lovely 🙂
  19. Thanks Gareth, I had the connector under the driver's see replaced just last year. That's why I thought I might have caused it disconnecting and reconnecting the door motor. Will try the spray as you suggest. Will also ask the local garage to run a fault diagnostic.
  20. Any update for us Ed?
  21. Thanks Allan, Wondering if 8mm ID fuel hose might do - make sure it's S.A.E J30 R9 ( the R9 higher pressure rating is important ). I understand the well respected Gates now do a braided version, so well worth searching that out. Please let us know how you get on. Regards, Gareth.

  23. Hi as my inlet flaps need a rebuild I want to do the PRO BOOST ecu map instead, Before I take my ecu out and post it off to germany to get it mapped I was wondering if anyone out there has one lying around thats already been done and would like to pass it on, Let me know asap please.
  24. You're welcome 🙂
  25. Hi everyone, I do not have a specific budget, but am just starting down this road. I have looked at prices on Autotrader, EBay and on here to get some ideas. I would guess £3k to £5k but let’s see what is out there please.
  26. Hi, my mmi is playing up, did the one you order work as plug and play? Just trying to figure out my options, mark
  27. Hi Pipe I think is about 38mm. Have found this on ebay 296994527233 The seller does'nt know what its made from and not interested in finding out (strange man) For £40 one would think metal of some sort as the plastic ones are about a tenner
  28. It is getting increasingly difficult to help you Gerry. Any reason why you can’t post a copy of what you have?
