  4. Yes I am the same. Disappointed in fuel economy a lot tbh. Has any body mapped to see if it improves?
  5. Did you get anywhere with this after Alex?
  6. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up as the issue could be with the module or wiring harness etc.

Looks like the code is a fault for the engine mounts. You need to check the wiring to the mounts as they are prone to breaking quite near to where they plug in. If wiring is ok then it could be the sensor for the mounts or the mount(s) themselves.
  8. I'd definitely recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you're experiencing multiple electrical issues then it might be worth looking at the comfort control module which is situated under the passenger front footwells carpet. If this is got wet at all from any water ingress then this could be damaged. If it is this then you'll need to get one with the exact same part number. Alternatively electric windows and other door electrical issues can be attributed to broken wires in the door harness in the flexible rubber but which joins door to the a pillar.
  9. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be an issue with the maf sensor.
  10. From what I've read from people who have done this on older a3s, you're best getting a golf dash from a car the exact build year as your A3. Then In theory it'll fit as mounting points should be the same, not sure how it'll work with the door cards though? Ie any protrusions from one or the other that'd stop the door closing. Don't forget that the instrument cluster is coded to your car with the imobiliser so ideally you need to keep the same cluster.

  14. Did you get an answer for this? I have the exact same on my A3 and can hear the noise you mean in the video it’s ever so faint but it’s the same dull ticking noise on mine. Just curious if it was an easy fix?
  15. That is strange Chris, since the screw goes into the (Audi) hub, so the correctly ordered Audi screw should fit - irrespective of the brake disc supplier. Are the threads serviceable? Kind regards, Gareth.
  16. Hi, Did you get your car fixed? Interesting that it's happening to the Q3 too. I very much got treated like I was the only person that had the issue, not doubt they have made everyone else feel the same way.
  17. I don't think so, the car accelerates normally as it should , it has all it's power. It doesn't seem like any power is missing.
  18. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Does the engine get up to temperature and stay there? If not then the thermostat could be faulty. In failing that it could be an issue with the heater matrix and heater control unit.

  20. Hi everyone fault has been repaired by Abz Audi ,costs covered by Ayr Audi .the problem was caused by faulty abs sensor wiring loom ,great result regards AR
  21. @Steph1234 my dealership is Huntingdon Audi. I am awaiting a response from Ferzana from Audi Executive, she's written to apologise for the delay, no surprise they are inundated with complaints!
  22. I actually looked at both the Mercedes E350d and the BMW 530d. I felt that the E350d was too comfortable ride for me, lacking any form excitement when you wanted to push it round corners everything felt too balanced and too forgiving you didn’t notice the torque at all you’d look down and you were travelling at speed but none of the thrills. The BMW was the polar opposite feeling like my imaginary daily commute was via the Nurburgring and if you let off and tried to drive in comfort it wasn’t really and you only had to think of touching the throttle and it wanted to take off like a rocket again which became irritating quite quickly into my test drive. I believe so, my spec sheet says ‘HD matrix headlights with dynamic front and rear lights’ Interesting, my current MY23 black edition has matrix headlights, however looking at the spec sheet for MY24 they don’t seem to have them in specification and now only available for Vorsprung/RS model.
  23. Hi, I have tried a few times to put a open cone air filter and silicone pipes on my Audi A3 8v 1.6tdi but even with a stage 2 remap egr/dpf delete/induction kit there is no turbo suction or flutter? I have tried different filters and different pipes but nothing works, any thoughts. Thanks
  24. Hi, I need to replace the gear knob and surround on my Audi A3 S-Line 35 2020, as the leather has ripped in multiple places. I've found a replacement gear stick (genuine Audi part from a breakers) and was looking to replace this myself as my dealership wanted £250 to change it. I've managed to remove the surround, but I'm unsure how to remove the gear knob from its stalk, it seems to be secured by a metal bracket. Does anyone have any experience, or even a guide, on how to do this?
  25. THOUGHT THEY ARE PLUG AND PLAY SOMETIME HAVE TO TAKE BATTERY OFF TO RESET EVERYTHING LIKE
  26. I had realised euro 7 was coming. I've heard next year even electric cars have to pay ulez!
  27. In the future, however, I would still consider matte black or gloss black, but in the end I decided on a copper colour for another model, even though I was still thinking about the granite colour that many people had urged me to go for.
