  1. Past hour
  2. So, gearbox oil and filter changed, shifts seem smother. Also do a launch and all ok. I will leave it as is for next couple of weeks and if all ok get it back to stage one with the r600 air intake back in. If no more issues then that will be the topic resolved and if not il update again. Thanks for all the info/advise
  3. Thanks
  4. Of possible, move it to Audi A4 (B7) Forum. Thank you.
  5. Hope this link to online ETKA helps 😄 Online etka https://ifinterface.com/prog/car/cp2/inprog.php Welcome >> Free services >> Carprog2
  6. Today
  7. I'd gladly do that if only I knew which forum to move it to. There are several A4 forums.
  8. The previous owners name appeared on my infotainment screen & it says he has remote access rights , how do I remove it , I would really appreciate any help thank you
  9. Sorry pal I am sure you can find it on YouTube at least you’ve an idea what the issue is!
  10. Think its different for my A3 as its a hybrid model, can’t seem to locate the sensor.
  11. Hi Steve, thanks but I think they’re not sure about A3s on there.
  12. Hey all. Hope it's ok to ask for a bit of help here?! I have a 2018 S4(B9) but have developed a fault with my air con. The code I got was B109207 so believe the motor has gone duff with my air con recirculation flap motor. I do also have another fault code which is B11AF07 "Fresh air door motor mechanical malfunction" but not sure if they are linked but 2 motors failing at the same time would be mighty unlucky. If I were to buy a new motor and fit it, is there someone in the central Scotland area that can help me recode/activate it using VCDS as my Carly scanner can't do that. I begrudge going to a main dealer as they charge so much for what I think is a simple job. Cheers, Chisy
  13. (oooops... I put it in the wrong topic 🫣...my apologies, admin please help.) Firstly my apologies for jumping in here with a question. I own a Seat Exeo ST and a couple of years ago I installed Audi S4 (B6/B7) front calipers with the 345mm rotor's. The stopping power is great but... I am from the Netherlands btw 😄 ... I also own a 1991 Audi 100 2.3e C4 ... with the great sounding 5 cylinder... At that time already noticed that these single piston partly aluminium and cast iron calipers are pretty heavy. My question is; does anyone know which Audi or Porsche, less heavy caliper is a direct bolt on replacement ? Thank you for any help or comment. This is the current setup:
  14. Engine earth is directly connected with extra wire.
  15. Hello everyone - I'm in the market for a B8 Allroad - there arent many out there to my spec, petrol, auto, preferably with dark interior. I'm not too bothered about external colour. I've got £7.5-8K to spend. My real question is about audio systems - particularly Bluetooth audio. In my 2007 A4 Convertible I bought a module that plugged into a spare port in the glove-box that enabled BT audio, I think it was spoofing the CD Changer? What are the options on a 2009-2011 spec Allroad? (Thats the age that comes up within my budget). All the cars seem to have different options, and hardware in the dash. (Im trading in my W204 C250 CDI, which has a USB powered 3.5mm jack plug BT module, that is the minimum want - I really dont want to have an AUX lead - in fact, my phone no longer has a 3.5mm jack plug! Cheers me dears. J5C
  16. My apologies, I thought it was the rubber bits for your trolley jack you was after.
  17. Unused: Professionally Refurbished 10 spoke Audi 18” alloy wheel with new Bridgestone Turanza tyre Colour: Titanium Grey with Diamond Cut Size: 7.5J x 18, ET 51, PCD 5 x 112.0 Audi Part Number: 8V0601025AM Purchased from Full Moon Wheels Ltd, Preston – Lots of 5 star reviews and they have an excellent reputation. Wheel was checked on balancing machine. Fitted with brand new Bridgestone Turanza T005 225 x 40R18 92Y AO tyre. Includes brand new Audi centre cap and wheel cover. 18. Instrument cluster failure is well known on the 8p. If you've bought it from a dealer then get it back to them asap.
  19. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  20. My brother and friend have used powerflow exhausts and been happy with the results.
  21. My own dealership actively distanced themselves from Audi and appeared concerned they wouldn't be paid for extended warranty work. As a result all my negotiations went through Audi Executive Office as the dealership stepped back. I had to pay the full cost up front. Some of the cost was reclaimed through a third party warranty before Audi finally took my complaint seriously.
  22. Hi. I have recently purchased a lovely 2017 S6 with 62k miles Its far too quite for my me and I am thinking of either a middle resonator delete, replaced with an x pipe, or a full cat back system. I have seen a Scorpion exhaust within my price range, and also Milteks, but they are slightly over budget. Does anyone have any recommendations of any other brands? If I just go for the middle resonator delete, I have seen an x pipe by ECS and 034 motorsport for about £450. Does anyone on here have those fitted? If so, how do they sound. I don't want anything too loud, but I want to be able to hear a bit more of the V8 than I can at the moment. Also, does anyone know anything about the active sound and what actually happens when you put the engine noise in Dynamic, as I cant hear any difference. I don't think its a valved exhaust, as I cant hear them opening or closing Thanks Dan
  23. So, update on the gearbox issues. It’s been very intermittent. Done it on Thursday and has been fine since. At mechanics here. Said it could be the gearbox oil needs changed as it’s approaching 70k miles. I told him I changed the oil at 65k but just got it at the motor factors. He said that may not have been the right oil and always goto Audi. Got a long wait as the won’t give me a courtesy car 😢
  24. Thanks for that, I've ordered one so lets hope this one works !
  25. Is there a reliable seller? especially someone not on eBay? They look like they’re in the 35-45 pound ballpark for a piece of plastic, seems a bit exorbitant?
  26. It’s the plastic insert in the car chassis that a Jack fits into, I’ve never had a car where these need replacing
  27. Thanks Spartacus, it was something like that! The tag on the underside of the connector has to be pulled outwards, it simply bends a bit and detaches a tiny latch inside. Awkward little blighter but all done now, contacts sprayed (they looked a bit green) and problem has gone away.
