That's a new one on me. Glad you got sorted.

You can buy sticker kits from ebay that go over the original switches. Very common issue on Audi's of that era. My A6 is the same. https://ebay.us/m/8AMJc7

LHyyY Car Air Conditioning Button Sticker For Audi A4 B6 B7 2000-2004,A/C Controls Radio Dash Buttons Sticker Interior Accessories : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive I don't know if these are the exact ones you need but you should be able to find the right ones if not. Hope that helps, but as I said, I can't vouch for the end result if they turn out looking naff.

Good plan. Please keep us posted on how you get on
-
Yeah, I've seen complete reproduction sticker kits, I can't speak for the quality of the end result though as I haven't tried them myself. I'll find the link and post it here mate.

Hi there, it's the markings. They are worn to the point of being white. Just wondered if I could obtain reproduction ones. Cheers.

Is it just the markings on the buttons that are worn out or are the actual switches not working, sorry, question mark button's died on my keyboard.

Hi All, I recently bought my neighbours 2002 A4. Does anyone know of a supplier of replacement dash buttons. Ours are worn out. Many thanks 😊

Sorry for the delay everyone, had to wait to get a service date, had it in yesterday, techs have said the sound is coming from the way the brakes are worn and suspension itself is fine (first time I have heard that...)

I think I might whip the injectors out over the weekend and get them tested, and see what the diesel specialist reckons.
-
Had a search through the forum, a fellow member had a similar issue and it was the injectors: https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/27168-rough-idle-sometimes/ Could it be throttle body issue? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/419589/%3famp=1
-
I also got a video of the injection variation, but I'll be honest I don't really know what it means. Have attached a couple of screenshots as it won't let upload the video

I've got a snap off solus unit and I've got a knock off Delphi unit, haven't tried the Delphi. As far as codes go, I've got: 4698-U1113 - function restriction due to received malfunction value - open or shot to plus 4699-U1113 - function restriction due to received malfunction value - open circuit 7150-P1698 - please check DTC memory of steering wheel electronics But I have a feeling they're related to a clock spring issue. Clock spring went a few months ago, replaced with a complete second hand unit, and the light I had for the airbag went out but got an ESP light and the steering angle sensor won't calibrate.

Full battery won't start. A6 c6 f4 allroad 3lt

I am really not getting a clear idea of the situation here. Some sort of software was updated, but it is not known which and why. The battery was tested, but no results have been presented to support the "all good" conclusion. The mechanic's "cpu is good but not perfect" so its conclusions can not be relied on. In the absense of firm information about the diagnoses I really cannot add anything further to this topic, however I wish you luck in solving the problem. -

Are my discs glazed/should my car make this noise?

I’ve given you one to start Tristian. -
If you have almost eliminated a fuel fault, perhaps it is time to consider an electric or electronic problem. Have you had it on a decent diagnostic scanner?
-
Me too lol. Getting the remap removed on Monday morning so I’m hoping if they dig a little deeper that they won’t be able to tell

That's what I thought. But I'm getting to the point where it's got an entirely new fuel system. I can't see it being the pressure sensor as the reading I get on live data, seem to be correct, and I can't see it being the relay, from my understanding they either work or they don't, but could be wrong.

Yep I mean the copper seals but if you've changed them then that's good. I know what you mean, it'd be very unlikely all 6 to go at the same time.

Do you mean the copper seals? If so they were all replaced when it was stripped down for the hpfp So wouldn't have thought it would be them, but I was thinking that it could be the injectors but all 6 seem to give a low amount of return, and from what little I know, if the injectors are bad they tend to flood out? I have the results written down, I'll find them and post them here.

Will do. It’s going in next Wednesday
