  2. Hi everyone, I do not have a specific budget, but am just starting down this road. I have looked at prices on Autotrader, EBay and on here to get some ideas. I would guess £3k to £5k but let’s see what is out there please.
  3. Hi, my mmi is playing up, did the one you order work as plug and play? Just trying to figure out my options, mark

  5. This link should help: https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/39192/ Looks to be a magnet

  7. Hi, I’ve recently had the same brake servo restricted error pop up on my Audi A3 etron 2015 and as people say I’m trying to replace the sensor but struggling to figure out where it is. Anyone know?
  8. It's a common fault in many Audi models.
  9. Hi Pipe I think is about 38mm. Have found this on ebay 296994527233 The seller does'nt know what its made from and not interested in finding out (strange man) For £40 one would think metal of some sort as the plastic ones are about a tenner
  10. It is getting increasingly difficult to help you Gerry. Any reason why you can’t post a copy of what you have?
  11. Um. Not an adjective I would associate with a classic car club.
  12. Absolutely. So my wife moved from an an A2 to a BMW i3 (perfect upgrade), if the A2 owners are evangelical, then i3 owners are like missionaries like Jack Hawkins in Zulu. I mean that in a light hearted way. They love their cars and are fiercely defensive of the marque/brand.
  13. Yes it was, but I could only see the damaged wires once I pulled all the wires back through the door.
  14. Hi Bob, did you manage to sell your car? If not, can you confirm which engine it is and any known faults/issues. thanks richard
  15. Hello fellow enthusiasts, we are looking for the nicest Audi A4 cabriolet with auto transmission as a long term keeper. No white or shouty colours please. Full service history and immaculate condition is what we would like. Ideally within 50 miles of Nottingham/Lincoln. what have you got which you might be willing to sell?
  16. Was that damage within the rubber bellows between door and frame? If not, where was it?
  17. I need to know what too, but the print out is vague
  18. Thanks Doug, I have emailed the letter directly to Audi UK, but as you went through your local dealer and they honoured it I think i'll also send them one for good measure. Thanks
  19. Hello im new to this forum, hoping someone could shed some light on light on an issue. Got a 2017 A6 Allroad engine light came on so got it checked at local garage came up with a fault code of P191A00 loss of crankshaft Synchronization. Has anyone ever come across this fault? thank you in anticipation.
  20. Thanks Cliff, There are a lot of factors to consider. There are pros too. I'll do some more research.
  21. This thread should help:
  22. So glad you got sorted 🙂
  23. Thanks Gareth, You're spot on. The replacement window motor didn't solve the problem. However I decided to have a closer look and the wiring loom and found two wires with splits in the plastic coating. I repaired these with insulating tape and it's fixed!
  24. Great letter. Fwiw, my previous car was a 2010 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI. It had the high oil usage problem that was caused by mis-specced piston rings. There was also a TSB and class action suit on that. The usage level needed to get to 1 litre / 1000 km before Audi would look at it (!) I wrote a v similar letter to Audi UK, sent via my local dealer, and they agreed to fix it despite the car being out of warranty. Very good of them. £6k engine out job. Good luck!
