  1. Past hour
  2. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  3. Sorry for the delayed reply, did you get this sorted? Not sure it should be dropping after 6 days. I'd definitely say it's a leaking bag.
  4. Glad you got it back. Let's hope the recall gets done quickly so you can charge it 100% again
  5. Hi Gareth, Thanks for your reply. I have the service history, which is all up to date, so just wanted to check what to do from here on in. The oil is still lovely and honey like, despite it being serviced about 3000 miles ago before we got it. Annual mileage for us would be c. 5000'ish. What is this "inspection interval" ? Thanks
  6. Today
  7. Any good 3rd party fully integrated CAN bus tow-bar electronics will deal with all of the advanced features, however when I researched this these were at least twice the cost of a dumb system. In the end I opted for a genuine Audi tow-bar retrofit for a stupid amount of money but it just works and does lots of smart tweaks to the suspension, gearbox and engine that make towing 1.6 tonnes effortlessly.
  8. Hello Gerry, No service book - all records will be digital for services carried out by authorised service agencies. Or receipts. Service intervals? Either annual if mileage is less than c1K/a, or Longlife which could equate to c18k miles or 18 months. Are you looking for evidence of previous history, or wanting to know what you have to do from here in? If you could let us have your anticipated annual mileage, and the current mileage, then we should be able to advise further. Regards, Gareth. p.s. brake fluid change every 2 or 3 years. Belt/s? Current recommendation is highly questionable in my book.

  10. Hi guys, What are the service intervals for the 2017 A3 8V Petrol? Also, on the dash it gives you a "service due" and also another "inspection"? Whats the difference between the two and what are the service intervals? Also, are all the service records digital, so you dont need a service book, or should these cars come with a service book? Thanks.
  11. FOR SALE IS A PAIR OF SIDE SKIRTS FOR AN AUDI A3/S3/S-LINE. I BOUGHT THESE TO PUT ONTO OUR SALOON A3 BUT AFTER ASKING MY BODY SHOP MAN ABOUT THEM HE SAID THE SALOON ONES ARE EVER SO SLIGHTLY LONGER, SO I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FURTHER WITH THEM. SELLING BOTH SIDES TOGETHER, SO DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDE. MAY SPLIT IF ENOUGH INTEREST. ORIGINALLY OFF A 2015 S3 SPORTBACK, BUT I AM LED TO BELIEVE THESE WILL FIT FROM 2013-2020, BUT PLEASE DO YOUR OWN CHECKS. SKIRTS HAVE SOME DIRT ENGRAINED INTO THEM, THEY NEED A PROPER CLEAN AND ALSO PERHAPS A CLAYBAR TO REMOVE SOME OF THE MUCK, I'VE JUST GIVEN THEM A QUICK JET WASH. ONE SKIRT HAS A GRAZE DOWN THE BOTTOM, THE OTHER HAS A VERY SMALL DINK. IF YOU ARE REPAINTING THESE A DIFFERENT COLOUR THEN NEITHER OF THESE ISSUES IS A PROBLEM BUT PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR WHAT I HAVE MENTIONED. OTHERWISE THEY ARE GOOD AND THERE IS NO ACTUAL BREAKS OR DAMAGE. THEY ARE IN A LOVELY BLUE/PURPLEY COLOUR. I BELIEVE THIS IS AN ORIGINAL S3 COLOUR. NO CLIPS OR FIXINGS INCLUDED, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET, JUST THE PAIR OF SKIRTS. £115 ONO (collection Birmingham).
  12. Thanks. I have a Carly and will give it a scan…👍
  13. hope it's sorted this time.
  14. Hi, Thanks again for all your advice, going to try and find someone who can read the live data.
  15. No probs. As I say I went off what's for sake currently on autotrader. And all the ones with 204ps aren't listed as hybrid. But looking at Derek's comment it looks like I could be wrong as he has first hand experience of the A5.
  16. Can't say I've heard of it. You could always get it checked by Audi or an independent Audi specialist
  17. I have a 2024 A4 204ps petrol and it has mild hybrid so I'd be surprised if they hadn't carried it over to the new car. If you've had an Audi with mild hybrid in the past then it looks like they've made the energy recovery greater in the newer models. In my 2022 A5 coupe I could feel the car slowing slightly with it when I took my foot off the throttle but that effect is greatly exaggerated in the newer ones. It's not a bad thing, it's just getting used to it. I generally don't brake unless I have to slow down suddenly or for junctions so it took a while to get used to it kicking in. Especially when it decides instead to put the car into neutral and let it coast. I imagine that it's closer to how EVs behave with their energy recovery
  18. In the end I'll ask audi, just wondering if someone here already knew.
  19. Thanks, I have done but they don't know what the issue is. They think it's coming from the matrix. All diagnostics show no problems so I'm unsure what it could be and tempted to back out if the purchase. Some forums say it's normal and to do with cooling the turbos or something? 20250625_084523.mp4
  20. Car was returned today, no problems. Nicely valeted and fully charged. (80% only)
  21. Sorry to hear of your situation and for the delayed reply. p0299 indicates turbo under boost. Before writing off the turbo if get your mechanic to check the turbo pipes, as over time these can perish and where they attach to the turbo they can let sir through when under pressure but would look fine when not under pressure if that makes sense. Your second fault code 05171 supports my theory as it implies a boost leak from a pipe or similar.
  22. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 yep it can be changed. You're probably best going for an aftermarket apple car play/android auto set up. You can buy these online.
  23. Definitely worth a shot but I'd still recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up for the dpf. You could look at having it professionally cleaned but this may only buy you time.
  24. If bought from a dealer I'd recommend getting it back to them for a diagnostic as they should fix it free of charge if bought within the last 30 days.
  25. Yesterday
  26. Just bought an A3 2.0 tdi 2017. Every time I stop I hear a gurgling sound coming from the dash or matrix. Done all tests for head gasket, no leaks or coolant loss!?????????
  27. Wow cost me £21
  28. Have you had the suspension checked for loose joints? It may be that the undercarriage is the source of the noise rather than the tyres?
