  2. Hi all I bought a 8.8 inch android auto unit from AE. The wires all look familiar as I've installed a MMI box before on my BMW with no issues so familiar with the process. I am unsure of these two wires though, instructions that came with the unit is diabolical but have asked the seller for support. For those who have installed one can anyone shed some light on what these are for? Climate control maybe? The labels on the wires do not tell me much. Thanks Ravs
  3. Hi I have an A6 diesel sline engine management light came on garage put it on diagnostic and said its the glow plugs need replacing, the audi is 66 plate full service history only 67000 miles does this seem right regards Rob kirk.

  5. Hi Steve, are you sure as there's an older post on this that states the new part (which has now been superseded) needs activated? I'll try and find the link to that and edit this post with it. Cheers for any and all help.... Other post below - https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/21104-a4-b9-recirculation-flap-motor-issue/#comment-77877 Chisy
  6. Hello all and thanks for reading my post. We have an audi A3 8p bkd 2005 with an electrical fault that's driving me and my Son crazy. We've read forums and done the following Fault occurred during an MOT test when the Oil level sensor light come on and econ light won't go off so no cool air. We changed oil level sensor and G65 still fault. Chase time: Removed G65 mating connector, removed oil level sensor connector Turned off ac unit No4 fuse still blows, next is remove connector from ac compressor and check fuse. My only other thought is trapped wire harness but where, what do MOT tester look at.. my head is frazzled. We have also checked ac coolant gas level and it's full. Any help would be very welcome. Thank you for reading.

  8. Hi I am pretty sure you can change the headlight configuration of the beam using VCDS I did this last year on a 2011 A4 cabriolet that was going to live in Spain. Steve.
  9. Hi I think you will find that a new motor is just plug in and play, as long as it is the same part the control module will just accept that it now works and not register a code again, the motor is just a slave and as long as it accepts a command pulse it should work fine. Steve.
  10. Hi. If you had any issues with insurance at all for this type of conversion then please feel free to drop me a line. Regards, Dan.
  11. On my all road the sensor is on left hand side looking from the front under the black cover next to the brake fluid reservoir --see photo
  12. Leaving the dip direction to the left may be acceptable for visiting cars, but I doubt it would be legal for a permanent import. How would it get through the French equivalent of an MOT test?
  13. It’s possible you have a electric booster for your brakes instead of using a vacuum,
  14. Hi I have just bought a 2015 Audi A5. I have imported it to France, the handbook states the dipping direction doesn't need changing. Could any member help with this. Thankyou David
  15. So, gearbox oil and filter changed, shifts seem smother. Also do a launch and all ok. I will leave it as is for next couple of weeks and if all ok get it back to stage one with the r600 air intake back in. If no more issues then that will be the topic resolved and if not il update again. Thanks for all the info/advise
  16. Of possible, move it to Audi A4 (B7) Forum. Thank you.
  17. Hope this link to online ETKA helps 😄 Online etka https://ifinterface.com/prog/car/cp2/inprog.php Welcome >> Free services >> Carprog2
  18. I'd gladly do that if only I knew which forum to move it to. There are several A4 forums.
  19. The previous owners name appeared on my infotainment screen & it says he has remote access rights , how do I remove it , I would really appreciate any help thank you
  20. Sorry pal I am sure you can find it on YouTube at least you’ve an idea what the issue is!
  21. Think its different for my A3 as its a hybrid model, can’t seem to locate the sensor.
  22. Hi Steve, thanks but I think they’re not sure about A3s on there.
  23. Hey all. Hope it's ok to ask for a bit of help here?! I have a 2018 S4(B9) but have developed a fault with my air con. The code I got was B109207 so believe the motor has gone duff with my air con recirculation flap motor. I do also have another fault code which is B11AF07 "Fresh air door motor mechanical malfunction" but not sure if they are linked but 2 motors failing at the same time would be mighty unlucky. If I were to buy a new motor and fit it, is there someone in the central Scotland area that can help me recode/activate it using VCDS as my Carly scanner can't do that. I begrudge going to a main dealer as they charge so much for what I think is a simple job. Cheers, Chisy
  24. (oooops... I put it in the wrong topic 🫣...my apologies, admin please help.) Firstly my apologies for jumping in here with a question. I own a Seat Exeo ST and a couple of years ago I installed Audi S4 (B6/B7) front calipers with the 345mm rotor's. The stopping power is great but... I am from the Netherlands btw 😄 ... I also own a 1991 Audi 100 2.3e C4 ... with the great sounding 5 cylinder... At that time already noticed that these single piston partly aluminium and cast iron calipers are pretty heavy. My question is; does anyone know which Audi or Porsche, less heavy caliper is a direct bolt on replacement ? Thank you for any help or comment. This is the current setup:
  25. Engine earth is directly connected with extra wire.
