  1. Past hour
  2. Audi routinely offer decent deals on warranties, £1k for a year is quite a lot to me but for peace of mind could be worth it, it’s really only down to how you feel & how much confidence you have in your car.
  3. 😁 Glad you like it, ever so slightly jealous🤦🏻‍♂️ I love the air suspension and the drive, it’s the best ride of any car I’ve ever owned, (bar the 1st Allroad!) Ive been through a foot of snow and & 2 foot of water in it without any problem. mines the lower power (218) version, I’d wanted the 272bhp sport version (seemed the best version for my needs) as I wasn’t sure I could afford to run a BiTDI but the 218 I found was the only one with the interior trim I liked, so I bought it but, when I had it serviced they said it had been remapped and explained that apart from the BiTDI, all the other engines were mechanically identical, they just had a different map, it certainly goes very well when I ask it to! It seems quicker than the original V8 Allroad I had, which is saying something. Lot more torques in this one. id have liked the 360 camera, (last car had it, miss it tbh but at £2500, no chance!) not sure now that the Ltd slip diff in the sport would have been worth and it looks a lot better with the windows tinted.
  4. Hello, Does anyone know where to find parts for older Audis? looking for a amplifier switch (near coil) for a 1990 Coupe E. thanks
  5. Hi everyone, Thanks for the various bits of advice and insights. Really appreciate it! So the BiTDI All Road is fantastic post the various service/maintenance items (plus powerflex front bushes). Running beautifully and very happy. Reversing camera and CarPlay upgrades over the next week or so. Plus, the tinting, valet and ceramic coating. Will let you know how I get on, plus prices and who I used. I checked on Audi website and I can extend the warranty for approx £1k … any thoughts? Basically for peace of mind. It’s a 2016 with 44k just FYI. Cheers
  6. Today
  7. Hi Steve, all sorted thank you. Got a valuation of and payout of 2k which based on your valuation I was happy with. Unfortunately still classed as uneconomical to repair by my insurance but retained it for 300. Just have to touch up the damage as best I can. Thanks again!
  8. Hi all. My A4 B9 Avant has the built in wireless charger and USB ports under the centre arm rest. I think it may be faulty, if you use the wireless charger (iPhone later models) are slow to charge and get really hot! Something not right there! carplay is enabled through the USB ports but having tried numerous cables it randomly disconnects the phone. Seems worse when it is warm. When it does this the phone doesn’t even charge through the cable. Does anyone know if the USB ports are separate from the wireless charger unit. Are they prone to faults? thanks in advance for any help/comments.
  9. Hello, I have the same issue. How can I access the US bulletin on this? Many thanks for your help
  10. Hi, my alternator has failed (4/5months out of warranty and only on 14k miles so they won’t pay out). Did Audi confirm your alternator was covered for 7years or the new one they’ve fitted? I’m clutching at straws as also need a new battery too as the alternator wrecked mine and they want 2k just for the alternator. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
  11. Easiest way to re-fill Adblu is to use the pump at a Petrol Station, there are two different nozzle types,I prefer the shorter nozzle with the lance type handle for ease of use. I’ve had similar Adblu related experiences,in several years use I’ve re-filled tank with varying amounts ranging from 2L to 20L when light has come on/counting down. Using a new 10L container of Adblu is awkward to hold at required level while getting flow rate correct. Try the pump, you’ll not regret it,plus works out cheaper per litre for me
  12. I agree with Gareth it should lock.
  13. Mines a company car lease so the hybrid is a massive tax incentive over a full petrol/diesel. And I wanted the extra power from a 45 🤪
  14. If you dont mind me asking what made you chose the 45? I chose a 35tdi 2 years ago almost through my pcp and tbh I love it. The power and torque is endless, its economical in eco mode i get 70mpg in summer in winter 60 for 33k, I never understood the allure to the hybrid battery model. Especially given reliability issues etc
  15. Yea my colleague bought hee new it was a 2016 model.
  16. I'd expect 40s unless just town driving and short trips.
  17. I'm not sure but I'd get this into a garage to be checked asap if it were mine.
  18. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the auto box last serviced?
  19. That's odd. If within 30 days take it back to the supplying dealer to sort as this should be done FOC
  20. I'm not sure only had the car a month, the engine runs for a short time after turning the ignition off also
  21. They’ve had it about 6 yrs min. I think. Bought from new.
  22. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Very nice, sure you'll enjoy it in summer, if we get any!
