I have reached out to Snapchat for support, but it seems like it is useless. A few days ago I changed my Snapchat password (I thought I was changing a password to another account) and then deactivated it. I tried to reset my password via phone/email, but it seems that it does not work, then a friend of mine referred me to a great guy that was able to recover any hacked/ deactivated or deleted account, message Yt7crackersz@ gmail .com & I.G @ Yt7crackersz To get back your compromised account, he is the only professional to resolve my account issue within some couple min..

The franchise dealer I bought from is a chain, the car was in Scotland and they had a branch ~30 miles from me. So close enough to buy from but not close enough to pop over to. I could ask another Audi dealer's parts dept closer to me, will investigate.

i thought it would be worth more than that ,as there's so few left

Hello Alex, I believe it should lock. Possible cause - sticky solenoid plunger which moves to lock the cap. Open the flap, and look to the side of the inside recess to locate the plunger, then give it a squirt of WD40. Alternatively, you may need to remove the boot inner side covering and attack/ replace it from there. Kind regards, Gareth.

Any good reason why you cannot make your request on a person-to-person basis with the Parts. Dept. representative via. a walk in visit?

Hello Anderson, Opinions will vary greatly - from spending extra on Audi pads since your labour is going to be free, to any of the ones you have mentioned, and many more. I certainly would not use Mintex based on my experience of last using them on a Rover Cabriolet with rapid wear despite new calipers. Once one of the most respected brands, but now…??? You mentioned Pagid, so I wonder if you are looking at ECP as a supplier-? I seldom use them for parts, and prefer to use Parts in Motion, and some other EBay suppliers who have given me competitive prices on quality brands, and overall great service. Worth trying P in M. I’m currently ‘experimenting’ with Brembo pads and discs on a family member’s non - Audi to good effect, so I currently favour those. Hope some of this helps. Kind regards, Gareth. p.s. Do you have a wind-back tool for the rears?

A4 B8 - Loud Engine Scraping / Grinding noise
Samuelsjs2 replied to Vorlockfoss's topic in Audi A4 (B8) Forum
Hey I own a 2014 A4 S-Line auto with 93k miles it started making the same noise you’re describing, 2 months ago i replaced the timing chain cover gasket because it was leaking and checked the chain, it felt normal tight as it should this noise is becoming more regular. 2 questions how much would a rough estimate be of the job and how do you find a trusted European mechanic or going to the Audi dealer is a better option -
Yeah the Q7 has loads of codes for everything. 01577 turn off due to over temp is a common one for the pump as well as the level control system going on about lower/ upper limit exceeded etc and even a 01583 code for leak detected in system. There should be some codes stored that will be an indication of what it’s unhappy with.

There were no codes on my 04 Allroad, 2010 Q7, there might be but, the systems electrical rather than electronic on the old Allroad, so nothing digital involved.

If one of the bags has a slight leak then the pump has probably been working overtime for as long as the yellow light has been on but I would of expected there to be a code for the pump overheating. You should be able to jack the car up on the side that’s down when turning the car on to take some of the strain off the pump and get the bags filled. Then spray soapy water on the suspension bags and see if you see bubbles indicating a leak. I probably wouldn’t just start replacing parts without doing some checks. Have you had the car code checked since this has happened. Check none of the level control units haven’t popped out of the suspension arms as that can cause weird and wonderful things to happen as the car try’s to change other corners of the car to compensate.

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome. haven’t changed brakes before on this model. Did however do it on my mk5 golf.. traditional handbrake on that model and As suggested my 8VA has an electronic handbrake. Spoke to mechanic friend from VW today he’s sadly too busy for home jobs but he said the front axle can be done without the vcds or similar. The rear axle however cannot.. 🫣 With that in mind I’ve ordered an Xtool A30M on his recommendation this will allow for the EPB to be reset etc. with regard to brands I of discs and pads I’ve been looking at Mintex, TRW, Mtec and Pagid. Im told Pagid are considered the best at present, mintex second and the dealers recommend TRW.. so any help would be appreciated..

Audi_Icarus started following Temperature gauge not working
-
I'm actually having a similar issue. First I'll start off by saying its the Audi A3 2008, it's an 8p chassis and 3.2L vr6 motor. So earlier this morning my gauge was working just fine, then randomly went down. It is a pretty cold morning so I was assuming that it was just the cold temp, but I took the long and slow way home and still didn't even go up. After getting home I checked the hoses, they have flow and the hoses are hot. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary when it comes to the engine running etc. No leaks, I checked the bottom hose where the sensor is(I think that's the sensor anyway) its still in there pretty good. Now when I started checking the gauge to see if it had any movement, I noticed when I turned the key to on the needle goes up such a small amount some wouldn't even notice, like a little spasm. But when the key is turned to off, it goes back down the 1mm if that. Not sure if this is a cluster problem or a fuse problem. Some people were saying check the plug in the engine block and Im lost for words on that cuz not a clue as to where that would be. Any help would be welcomed. Im pretty good with mechanical stuff, not so much electrical which is what I am assuming this issue would be. I believe the engine code is also CBRA if that helps.

Jesse started following Identifying occasional thick white smoke cause
-
Hi guys. just trying see if there is anyone that may have come across this before, prior to having a thorough rummage. I have checked the forum and couldn’t see anything related, if I have missed it please point me in the right direction. basically on two occasions now, when I have been on full lock and the left front a has dropped of the kerb some oil must have spilled onto something hot and burned producing a white smoke that pours out of the near side wheel arch area near the back of the engine bay. it smells like it could be transmission fluid, which would point to the power steering pump or pipes at the back of the engine. I have also read that it could possibly some oil shifting from a collection tray onto the cat. it only happens when the car is jolted from the drop of a kerb. The rest of the time everything is all good. Any ideas at all? Much appreciated Jes

Audi 4.2 V8 cars with timing chain Vs Cambelt list
56Doc replied to Steve Q's topic in Audi Technical
Well, as I said, I don’t know anything about them as I’ve never owned one but they love it. Very economical, and it seems to have plenty of grunt for such a small engine on the odd occasion I’ve driven it. -

Hi Gareth, On my request I did write BUILD RECORD. The Head of business picked up and dropped of the car, but he said he was busy, so left it with the Service Mgr. I also wrote that please ask the Parts Dept or Service team for this information. Next to that they wrote Vehicle Specification + Digital service history. Incidentally, they printed the correct service history (but I can get that from myAudi) but I've now noted that the Spec is not for this car!!

Been a while since I had my last Audi, but taken the plunge again. Based in Bournemouth and have bought an 07 A4 Cab 3.2 V6 S-line. Only 68k original miles. As a bit of a perfectionist, I know it’s gonna empty my pockets (excluding fuel)! Will apologise now for any stupid q’s and hope to help as much as I can too! cheers jes

Frankygene1235 started following Front wipers won’t work
-
My Audi A6 2008 has recently be showing up wipers defective whenever I turned the car on but would quickly go off and the wipers would work as normal this went on for about two months until they fineally stopped working altogether . After about two weeks of them not working altogether they came on randomly at one point and jammed themselves down under the bonnet of the car after this they have never came back on .. I have replaced the linkage , the motor (multiple motors) the wiper control module and the wiper arm stalk inside the car and still cannot get my wipers to work I plugged it into the computer and it’s not showing any problems . Every wire and relay possible has been checked .. It seems the wipers have put them into service mode and won’t take themselves out of it , I’ve tried manually resetting the wipers but she just puts herself back into service and won’t seem to come out . I’m at my wits end trying to figure this problem out if anyone has encountered anything like this it would be a great help if you could point me in the right direction
