Hi Gareth, 18months old,  bought 6 months old from Audi dealer. Full service history by Audi. Cheers.

Smacks of binding brakes to me - colouration (blueing) is a strong indication of this. They do not look that badly lipped but scoring is down to opinion. Mine is they are safe to roll on but if in warranty and low milage then Audi have a case to answer.

Hello Mark,

Thanks for the additional helpful information. If I'm interpreting the photo properly then I would say that the general surface water pattern, and particularly the scoring, is not what I would be expecting as normal wear on a car of this age and mileage.

If it were mine, I would not be a happy bunny, and would be having a quiet word with Mr Sinclair? - where you bought it.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
