Hi all,

 

I'm new here. I've initially joined seeking some advice on buying my first Audi, and all going well I hope to stick around these parts for the long-term. 

 

I currently own 2x Mercedes; a 55 plate W169 A200 Turbo and a 59 plate W245 B200 CDI Sport. Both are manuals, with the former sitting at the standard 193bhp and the latter (with DPF 'mod'/ map) sitting at around 180bhp. 

Both cars have been fun to drive whilst at the same time offering the practicality I've needed, but I've also had a bit of bad luck with both, hence now looking to move to something newer, hopefully more reliable, whilst still offering a mixture of economy and performance.  

 

I've currently got my eye on a 2014 plate A3 2.0 TDI S-line (184). I'll get another thread up shortly and hopefully you wise owls can help me decide if this is the right choice.  

 

I've had a good look around prior to hitting the 'sign-up' link and I must say, in comparison to the Merc community these forums seem to offer a whole lot more in terms of useful information. 

 

I'm sure you're mostly all a friendly bunch but please go easy with me whilst I get settled in :-)
