Monksey7
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. My name is George, I'm 18 and from Bristol. Here is my A3, it's a 2.0 Tdi S Line. Not only is it my first Audi but it is also my first car, earned and not bought by the bank of mum and dad. He is affectionately named Tommy. Steve Q
Welcome to the forum George, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) lovely looking a3 you have there and a very nice first car! My first car was a Ford escort which didn't even have airbags! I still have the escort but obviously not as a daily! 😀
Monksey7
Thanks for the warm welcome Steve, and nice looking A6 in the picture there. What mark of escort do you have? :)

What mark of escort do you have? :) Thanks for your kind comments George, my a6 was owned by my dad before me and has covered 328k on the original engine and gearbox which have never been rebuilt ;) My escort is a mk5b built in 1993 so it's just turned 25! I have to say the grey colour really sets off your a3 and it's even rarer being a 3 door 😃 Audi are stopping production of the 3 door at the end of next year because they make so little of them. By the way, you be more than welcome to display your a3 at the up and coming shows we are attending. Just have a look at the events section and let me know if you'd be interested in coming to any of them :) Cheers Steve
Monksey7
Yeah it's a shame that they are axing the 3 door, but I guess it makes mine rarer. I will definitely look at the upcoming shows.

Exactly, rarity is good! :) Nice one, just let me know if you're interested in attending any :)

Adbro
Hi George you have a nice 3 door A3. Is the frount seat mechanism that allows you into the back sexy still? MK1 A3 lifted the seat up and forward onto the steering wheel. Sadly I have to have a 5 door for practical reasons now. Thanks for posting though

Thanks for posting though The front seat mechanism doesn' lift the seat but tilts it forward and slides it forward as you push the seat.
