A6 Avant Child Seat protection

Featured Replies

Evening guys,

Sorry to bother you all again. It is looking like I’m picking up my 2014 A6 Avant this weekend ☺️

I’m going to have to put an Isofix car seat in the back for my daughter, so I wondered if anyone has used the Genuine Audi Child Seat Underlay Seat Protectors? I don’t really want to ruin the seats as they are currently mint, but the extra space was the obvious reason for buying the Avant in the first place. The second thing is, is it easy to fit the Isofix base myself? I read other posts on here that sounded a bit confusing. I also wondered if the Isofix mount is something that can be removed,to allow use of the three back seats when the baby is not in the car,or once installed is it a permanent fixture?

Sorry to ask so many questions

Paul

Doesn't look like rocket science to me.

As for the protector - I did not have isofix when mine were twee but used a towel under their car seats. Thick enough to pad out the seat and absorbent for any "spillage"

i`d say save your money and use a hand towel, as for the isofix be sure to make a gap to them so you dont nip the leather 1st time may take a few goes to achor the seat correctly but once done its all good m8

I have £14 ebay seat protector for over a year now and it does the job
