Afternoon sorry if this has been repeated but I'm at a bit of a loss.

cars been fine since ownership until Tuesday when I started it up and it started heavily smoking. Trawling through forums thought it could be the egr cooler so I bypassed it and connected the two hoses together and took it for a 10 min drive this morning got it up to temperature and it fills the road up with smoke behind me 😂

No loss of oil, temperature stays at 90, car still pulls well through all gears but have some coolant loss.

no fault codes

engine code ref:BRE

any thoughts of what I can try?
