Does anyone know from what date the A6 had the DPF fitted as standard?

Check the build sticker pr codrs.

I think it's 2008 onwards if I'm not mistaken, but I agree with Piotr with checking your build sticker which you should find in the spare wheel well.

Some 2005+  a6 had dpf with 2.0tdi as the euro 4 standard kicked in . But then from 2009 every car needed one by law.

Ah right. I think the info I had applied to the 3.0tdi 🙂
