Dayne01
Hi all So here has what has happened.... Mot Faluire on my front pads and dics, I’ve changed them. During the change I was unable to move the calliper piston back so I opened the bleed screw and pushed back. when it came to bleeding the brakes I was unable to and traced it back to the master cylinder being faulty. so after now changing that and bleed the brakes. i have nearly no braking power, the pedal is very hard but does stop the car just not as it was. i have borrowed a VCDS software but it is out of date and I believe it’s the Chinese copy. ive run the abs pump to bleed and then when I did the test it locked the brakes and wouldn’t realase the front brakes, I’ve now had to bleed the fluid out, the car is now moveable but still a hard pedal. ive checked the booster vacuum pipe but I can’t feel any leaks, I did remove the pipe to check suction which there was. Any ideas how to solve this?

Steve Q
I had an issue on my a6 which made them intermittent and the fault was traced back to the brake vacuum pump. I wonder if you've damaged the system when you've forced the Piston back?
