2.0tdi engine noise on decelaration

Featured Replies

hi guys

im having a few issues with my 2.0 tdi bre  when you start to accelerate there is no noise but when you back off the throttle there is an almost machining engine noise coming from what sounds like something to do with the drive train but when you depress the clutch the noise is still there. plus i have put in two new DMF's  and clutch and another gearbox and still the noise is there.i have just recently seen that that there are a few issues with the oil pump on these tractor engines. any clues

FACTS

CAR HAD DMF ISSUES  VIBRATION ETC THE USUAL - CHANGED ONCE THEN AGAIN BECAUSE I CONVINCED MYSELF IT WAS A DODGE EBAY ONE

THEN CHANGED THE GEARBOX THINKING IT WAS THAT - NOT THAT

ALL THE RUNNING GEAR IS FINE

WTF IS IT

come guidance would be much appreciated
