Betterment (front sensor parking) retrofitting by Audi and Warranty

Featured Replies

Dear All

this is my first post. I own since less than a month a second hand approved used Audi A4 quattro. I bought in Liverpool. It comes with only rear parking sensors and I want to have the front parking sensor retrofitted with Audi original part from the garage that sold me the car. I have just got an email from the Audi manager telling me that Audi discourage retrofitting, and if I want to go ahead this will affect my warranty.

i think that retrofitting an Audi with original Audi parts should not affect my approved used warranty. Do you more expert guy have any advice? I wish to have this piece of kit that will increase the safety of the car.

Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

id be going with what Audi say, itll affect the warranty as they'll have to modify the bumper and wiring which are currently covered under the warranty but wouldn't be once they modify them

cheers

Steve
