Cannot open aux menu on radio

Hi there, i bought an Audi A3 8P 2010 technik , and when i first plugged in the aux to my phone I couldn’t get the aux menu to open in the radio. Is there any solutions that one of you people found.

Oh stupid me! I'm thinking of a USB socket. My bad. Have you tried an iPod to see if it's your phone? Or tried another phone?

Yes I’ve tried 2 samsung’s and a couple of iPhones.

When you say you cant open the aux menu what do you mean ? I plug mine in and push the CD button and it works ??
