[A5] Problem with CVT Multitronic Gearbox

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Your help on this one would be much appreciated, I need some expert or someone who has faced this issue in the past.

I bought Audi A5 2014 2.0 with CVT Multitronic gearbox, the car was bought from the damage salvage auction and was fully repaired by me in my garage.

Everything has been fixed successfully, however I experience a problem with the gearbox - the car just does not move when the gear is being put in place. - every gear selected is showing a neutral however you can hear the pump launching on and moving the oil.

I have a VAGCom diagnostic software, tried connecting via OBD II and the car does not display any errors - all the errors have been removed after accident.

I am blind on this one, is the gearbox in some sort of emergency mode after the accident, does it need coding/adapting? Maybe the oil has to be changed?

Thank you very much for all the replies
