Which A4 Avant

Featured Replies

Evening All.

I am a former Audi driver (7 years A3’s 3 years A5) who made the switch to a C Class Merc last year, I hate it, and the whole experience of owning it, dealerships are clowns, car does not appear to be built to the standard I had expected etc. So, I am on the way back to Audi. Looking very seriously at a few 2017 Avants. Which is the engine to go for, keeping in mind I am a 30k miles a year driver. The FWD V6 3.0TDI (218BHP) or the 2.0 TFSI Quattro (254BHP).  I had a V6 in my A5, which was very smooth on the motorways, though being FWD, suffered from torque steer rather too much. I’ve never really been fond of the 2.0TDI 190BHP unit that the VW group uses. What are the service intervals on them both? Seem to recall the 3.0 was about 12k miles.

Anything spec wise I should look for / avoid on these? I rather like to look of Virtual Cockpit.

Thanks All

simon
