Electronic Parking Brake Malfunction

Hi all

 

Would really appreciate any advice before travelling to the local stealers.  My car is a 2010 Audi A5 3.0 Quattro which has a parking brake malfunction warning.  I have replaced the parking brake module but now the light on the electronic parking brake now flashes and I get a error warning.  Do I need to get the module coded?
