Hi, I have an Audi A6 1.8T, first registered in 2003 and these days I need to use a light abrasive to reduce the yellow film that forms on the front of the headlamp lens, to get the car through the light checks portion of the MOT. 聽I was wondering what my options might be regarding changing the headlamp units. 聽Do I need to fit聽a like for like replacement, or is there a more effective lighting聽technology available which it would be sensible to tap into? 聽I would love to hear from anybody who has gone through this process. 聽Thank you.

Hi I had the same problem with having to flatten back the yellow film to get the car through it鈥檚 mot every year,聽a friend told me that you can get them re lacquered so I went to a local body shop guy I know and he done exactly that and they are聽as good as new and saved me 拢拢拢s and this is a recent picture of my car and it was a year ago they were re lacquered and there still as good as new 馃槉
